Best way to get a Turbo off a Cossie ?
Right im trying to change my T3 for my T35. however i cant get the bloody turbo off.
I have taken the boost pipes off, oil and water, I have even undone the down pipe, but i cant undo the 4 bolts that hold the turbo to the manifold.
I have also looked at taking the manifold off but cant get to the bolts underneath,
has anyone done this before, best ways to do it and any tips more then welcome,
Note to Myself, (do not drive car before i try to change turbo, i have the burns to show)

its a pure but it can be done, did you remove the oil return pipe under the turbo ( 2 bolts hold the steel section on to the lower turbo body and a clamp down near the sump, this give some access to the bolts, you
just have to try and get a good spanner on them maybe a bent one,as they come loose you will have to lift the turbo and follow up as you loosen, soak in plenty of wd40 or releasing agent and give it a bit of time.best of luck

i recently tried to remove my turbo what a pain it was bolts breaking off water pipe fixing bolts snapped off in the end i decided to remove the lot off as one piece got all the manifold bolts off then came to the two bottom ones in the middle i couldnt find any spanner to fit so i got an old 13mm spanner put the gas torch to it & bent it to the right angle and got them off. it was a lot easyer to dismantle on a bench no back ache but still ended up drilling and tapping out some of the other bolts on the manifold.
best of luck mate.
