Default Cosworth Rear Suspension

Does anyone know if the rear beam, trailing arms and what looks to be 9" rear diff from a Granada Cosworth will fit onto the back of my 2wd sapphire cosworth ? According to the guy on the parts dept at my local Ford dealer he reckons the beam is the same part number so should fit striaght on but he doesnt know if the trailing arms and diff would be compatible.

i cant see a granada cosworth having a 9 inch diff

why are looking at doing this , just for the diff or are you building one from scratch??

Basically, the diff on my sapphire is on its way out and i had a Granada Cosworth that i broke up but ive still got the complete rear suspension set up. My idea was to blast and powder coat the granny beam and arms, rebuild the diff which physically measures 9" (does this mean that the granny has a 9" diff or is it just a coincidence that the casing is that size?) and then swop the whole lot with over at weekend. What do you reckon ?

the 9inch diff is refering to the internals , a granada cos diff will also have a different ratio(not 100%sure on this though).

put a shout out to zoo on the main board as they more about diffs and will be able to tell you 100%.

but your granny dont have a 9 inch diff
