Default 2005 Focus 1.8 TDCi engine cut out

Hi

Just wondering if anyone else has the same problem...
My Focus will run brilliantly, then out of the blue sometimes the engine will just cut out when driving. It can be when overtaking doing aprox 120 kph, or even just at 50 or 60kph.

It's been in the garage god knows how many times, had a diagnostic test on it which came back clear, but obviously, for safety reasons I need to get this fixed asap as I cannot afford to change the car at the moment.

Has anyone else had problems like this? If so, what was the cause?

Thanks so much

Lou
