Default rev counter and autronic management

fitted a st200 stack rev counter yesterday and cant get the dam thing working, ive got an sm2 with cdi 500 , everything is wired as it should, when i turn ignition on the tacho lights up and goes backwards as it should going by the handbook, but when started nothing happens! any ideas??

i had realy big problems with this too. Do u have a tacho convertor? Theres an autrinic one that should make the signal from the ecu the same as the standard signal as it gos inline from the ecu to the green wire behind the dash. Also how is your rev counter calibrated the first one i got was 2 to 1 and it read double so i had to send it back and get it done to 1 to 1 seems ok now. Realy u need to chat to mark sheed

i dont have a tacho convertor! not sure what its calibrated too as i got in the for sale section here, i emailed mark , he said it should work!!!

right i still hav nt this sorted yet,
was nt to bother as its been off the road for over a year ,
but im on the road again and really need this sorted,
im only getting 5 volts coming from my cdi to my rev counter for my signal, i think it needs to be 7-8, how can i get my voltage up?
