2wd Cossie Missfire
HELP !!! ive got a standard 2wd sapphire cosworth that has devloped an increasingly annoying missfire. It only happens from about 4500rpm upwards. Ive changed the following: - Plugs twice(including setting plug gaps), dizzy cap, rotar arm, phase sensor, leads, ign amplifier, crank sensor, tried a different ECU, coil and amel valve but i still have the problem. When it misses its the very first plug that blacks up (nearest cambelt) Does the phase snsor and crank sensor have a certain gap and if so what is it and how do you adjust it ? Ive even looked at the wiring on the injectors to see if its corroded / broken but all seems fine. Someone please help, itsreally begining to get on my tits !!!!

HI,
Second that martymcfly, swop injector with one of the others and
see if that plug on the swopped cylinder blacks up.if no change
check current to no1 injector,and wiring, plus compression test,
as guinnless above has covered crankpully lug's and phase sensor,
clean up plug before test.

ill do all that but i didnt think that the crank sensor was adjustable as its on two 8mm bolts init ?
Is it better to adjust crank and phase sensor to the smaller or larger limit measurements ?
