Hiya

was after a bit of advise please i was parking my galaxy up which is a mk2 2.3 manual petrol and went to take it out of reverse gear to select 1st released clutch and was still in reverse.

checked under bonnet everything seams to be moving fine with the cable's and on the gear change selector on the box so i'm assuming its the internal's of the gear change selector?

has any one come accross this before and if it is the gear change selector does any one know what they are like to change? unit dont look to bad to remove but but looks like battery tray needs to be moved out the way.

any advise would be great

was the selector! a bolt had snaped on the internal side of it so now got to try and fish the bolt head out. battery tray and gearbox mount had to be removed out the way to get it out but wasn't to bad to do.
