Hi there u'll ned to hold ur penny flap shut on your internal wastegate and tap into the swan neck and as you said weld on the flanges for the wastegate. you also need to find a way to re route the vented boost back into the exhaust system further down or you could do as i have and run a screamer pipe . (loud) as for size u'l be fine with 40mm i would think. i also run a t34 with 40mm external and it's a nice set up .

sorry bout the pic quality
Cheers Ally

With the penny flap how did you go about sorting that out? ie hold it shut then weld it inside? does it need to be sealed tightly? or just shut and weld it from outside? sorry for the silly questions but if im going to do it i want to do it right, i was ready to change the housing but you have just saved me lol

Well theres a few ways of shuttin it . yes it has to be a tight seal so the first way is to simply use an actuator with the adjuster rod wound in all the way so its tight and dont connect the vac pipe , therefore it will just act as a stopper . second is to use a piece of threaded bar to again hold the flap shut tigh . and the third is to weld it shut thus being able to remove all trace of the internal gate bar the penny flap which MUST stay in and remain tightly shut .
