Hello,

Does anyone know the thread size for the "unusual" square headed bolts to top up the oil on a T5 gearbox ?

And also wondering what gearbox oil people recommend (Quaife gear kit fitted) ?

I always use a gear oil, atf has little in the way of shear protection by comparison, butdoes give a better change esp when cold, having said that the synchro's need friction to work correctly and atf is just too slippery to ebanble this as well as gear oil.
I think the plug is 14x1.5.
