Question Help help help !!!!

A few weeks ago i ran low on fuel in my W reg 2.5d Trannie. Kept going for about two miles to garage spluttering all the way but didn't run out. On leaving the garage she was still spluttering didn't matter what i did. I then found by screwing her in second she came to life and was running ok but recently the spluttering keeps coming back even with fuel in her. So by screwing it in second it comes back to life again and is ok for another week or so. But last few days it seems as though there isn't as much power as it should have. I can feel a slight splutter when driving like it's misfiring. Can someone help me .I feel she's started using more fuel as well since the problem has become more regular. thanks in advance.

If there's no bleed valve then it should bleed through on the starter.

Top up new filter with diesel, crack open injectors, crank over till you have a nice flow from the top of injectors, tighten up and away you go
