Default fiesta imobliser

the imobiliser on my fiesta 1.4 16v r reg keeps kicking in had the ecu tested came back fine there must be a way to disable it how can i do it i have only one key a black one so cannot reset it .this problem only seems to happen when cold .please help it is so frustrating

Sometimes static electricity on the key can affect it, so worth rubbing key for a few minutes with wet cloth, removes the static, have known it work before, though that was for ones that wouldn't work to start with, worth a free go though.

you posted same answer before i have tryed it it has no effect any other ideas or is there a way to disable imobiliser

They can be disabled, as everything can, but never done a festa with pats problem disabling wise so can't comment.
The system is fully interagateable though so dealer should be able to pinpoint almost instantly on machine.

i took it to a garage they said it was a blanket computer problem and cannot put it down to aparticular thing and they wanted to change every thing at a cost of a thousand pounds i think it is just a sensor problem but what one could it be ?
