Guys,
are all the 1.6 silvertop blocks the same for air con/ non air con.
I have found a good secondhand motor, but it doesnt have air con.Will my a/c pump and brackets fit the non a/c lump.
The donor motor is still in the car so its difficult for me to see.

Same blocks for air con and non air con, on silver top, don't know on black top, but my guess would be 100% the same as well.

My easiest option now will be to fit the second hand lump.
I will take the plugs and the o2 sensor out to try and get an idea of how she was running .
Everything looks standard in the engine bay with pukka ford leads and coil pack, but theres no information about the mileage.
