why do a lot of springs for focus say not suitable for st170? i want to lower but not happy with the spring choices.

Either the height is too far out, or the rate is very wrong usually.

thanks. . you are like the bible of car advise lol but i want to go low and due to a snapped spring its killed the coilover funds as it needs fixing

been in to ford today. they do eibachs, dont lower much atall.. works out to about 20mm on my st

It doesn't always get better with going lower, not past a certain point, but your car.
phone up AVO/chassis dynamics most likely do a set for another car that will do what you want.
