Default frst CR

Hello everyone im putting a gt28r on my 1600 cvh its .5mm rebore with standard comp mahle pistons only done about 8k .ive been reading into big bhp cvh engines and im planning to get big power out of mine but im just a bit conserned that the head has been skimmed twice will the CR be to high for the 250 bhp im after. im planning to get steel rods and the mahle pistons skimmed at a later point when funds permit.
the car is booked in to get megasquirt v4 so i dont want it to get there it blow up.

spec
*gt28r
*380cc rover turbo injectors
*megasquirt v4
*piper t1 cam
*frontmount intercooler

i will be running as lowest boost as i can to get power till engine upgraded

any help would be great
cheers andy

depends on how much has been skimmed off the head as there isn't a standard skim depth.
you should be ok though, just make sure timing and fuelling is right though.
