Default Air to Air ????

Hi all,

I've just finished the following engine and will be dropping in my car over the next month or two once I've completed a few small jobs.

RS500 Block Long Studded
New GRP A Pistons
H-Beam Steel Rods
Standard Crank
Polished & Ported Head
14 Inlet Cam - 10 Exhuast Cam (Mountune Spec)
T34
Siemen 55lb
-31 Actuator
Coil Pack etc on M.D. Chipped P8

I'm wanting to use for the track............

Now not sure if you need that information ? but looking at the spec would it be an advantage running Air to Air, and also what sort of BHP figure would you expect after a mapping section ?

Many thanks............

What do you mean, are you talking about intercooler or oil cooler ?

Thanks,

Before air to air injectors were sold, which by the way are NOT air injectors at all, boost control was not a problem, using the other various means ie ecu/amal.

Gents,

So I'm guessing there's arguements for and against.........

I'll try and read into it a little more.........I'm really just after reliability more than anything else.

I was thinking if this is the best method for accurate control etc etc.

Cheers again.

Some people will come up with things to sell you as thye are in buiseness(sp) to make money, they may be no better than other means, but they look like they should be.
The injectors msd use are from the ones I've seen CNG injectors, that said there doesn't appear to be any particular problems cropping up running purely air without the cooling effect of gas in cng.
