Default Running in smoke ?

Running in cosy engine at mo,just a bit concerned, when i start car from cold,no smoke, when blipping no smoke,if i leave car ticking over for 5 minutes or so,then give it a rev,a puff of blue smoke, clears straight away.no smoke when driving,or on overrun, only when left ticking over for a while.Any ideas, could the turbo be letting by,could the oil feed union be to big in top of turbo. Its a new turbo. The only thing that i did not change was the valves.I still have a crap mineral oil in at the mo.
Any ideas,thanks matt

Did you do new guides ?, it doesn't sound to bad if only whilst idling, if running a tad rich(bad) it will cause a little smoke esp running in, you are running it in properly, ie not babying it everywhere ?
If you suspect the turbo, look in the inlet pipes, should be nothing more than faint mist of oil in there if anything.

Whoever did the headwork would presumably have told you if the valves were shagged.
Why you keeping off the boost, how many miles has it done, what oil you using ?

A small amount of boost won't hurt, but more important, use plenty of revs, I am at full throttle by 500 for brief periods.
