I have a 52 Mondeo tdci 130. It's down on power big time and hard to start from cold but starts ok when warm. Egr all clean and new cam senser fitted. p2337 fault code came up, 2 cyl above threshold. no flashing lights on dash also turbo waste gate is sucked open straight away on start up is this normal

 

I'd get the cam timing checked on this, waste-gate could be a power limiting strategy by the ECU.

 

does the engine have any more knock than usual?

 

it is a little louder than usual. got white smoke on morning start up
