Default Charge Carrier modifcation

On the ERST the charge pipe goes up and over the head and when the car gets hot it heats up causing the air inside to heat up. i have been told that you can mod this so the carrier goes around the side and not over the head. Is this correct and if so what parts do i need or will have to get something made.

Sounds like a lot of work for not a lot of gain to me bud , the advantages of redirecting your charge pipe to lower ur temp by a degree if that on a very hot engine seems a bit of a waste of time, as sugested try introducing extra cooling an see if it makes a difference

There is more heating done at the inlet manifold than in the charge carrier. Fitting some extra heat insulation between the inlet and the cylinder head would have more gain. It is also dead easy and effective to just heat wrap the carrier if you are worried by this.

It's not a direct fit, but very easy. The RS1600i inlet is even easier.
