Default Solid Lifters and cam help please

Hey all,

I have been looking into getting some solid lifters and at burtons they are doing them for £20 odd each. Will i need to change my camshaft?

On my Spec build sheet it says i have a SVM Design Camshaft. Sorry for the noob questions im not very mechanical minded yet

You can run solids on a hydraulic profile cam, it will just wear a bit quicker and sound a bit noisey on idle.
