hi there im new on here, so this has probably been asked before but here goes.

I have a 1989 mk4 escort van that i have taken out the 1.3 hcs engine and replaced with a 1.6 cvh mfi engine, i have mounted the pump roughly where it came of the orion donor car but its not quite runnin right fuel wise the pump is making funny noises and the engine is mis firing . would i need to get an injection fuel tank for this to cure the problems.
