Default als ?

have read about the mild als that uses a modified iscv and was curious if this can be carried out on both versions of the escos or only the large turbo version

Large turbo only as far as I'm aware, as you need a modified Weber ECU with Pectel board to run ALS (unless using certain aftermarket engine management systems)

I can't see that you'd gain a lot even if you could run ALS on a Small Turbo Escort - it's hardly a lag monster is it !

If you changed the management and went down the big turbo route though........

You can get mild ALS with the standard idle valve - just need the proper chip, switch, and big injectors matched. My proper ALS died and I put the stock idle valve back in. It gives mild anti-lag with this.

Cheers
