right the problem i have is if i floor the accelerator in 1st and 2nd its fine pulls verry well but if i do the same in 3rd it dont want to know.

BUT if i feather the accelerator to the floor it pulls as strong as it will in 1st or 2nd

does it need seting up or is it something else

my car is a erst s2 2.0 zvh just to save time

misfire or fuel starvation sounds like check plugs and leads

 

its just had new plugs and leads mate and they was all checked out fine

but fuel starvation ? i dont think this is the problem judging be my old plugs as they led me to belive it was over fueling as they was black

 

totally black or black with brown electrode?

maybe right then gives simular effect in my experience too much or too little can starve revs/power for obvious reasons i dont know a huge amount about the turbos tbh tho sorry mate

 

did you ever find what was causing this problem? having the same problem

 

found problem to this at last!! penny washer was sticking in wastegate.
