Default zvh starter motor

i have got a 1.8 zetec bottom end to fit into my s1 engined rs1600i... its the one with the two piece ally and steel sump... i just need to know whats the best way to fit the starter i am going to use the turbo gearbox... it looks like the ally part of the sump might need cutting back.. help please .. cheers

either cut the sump back and get it welded or get a rear starter gearbox and change the internals for the rs one

just cut the webs off there is no need for any welding.

you cant really see it well but thats a blacktop sump.

Are you sure you know what you are doing? Just cutting things off can be costly....
