Default 2.9 24v Cosworth into XR4i

*Posting on behalf of a freind who doesn't have net access*

Any information on this conversion please? Going on the information i've come accross it seems to be a case of dropping it in, wiring it up and away you go!? can't be that easy surely? what gearbox needs to be used? clutch/clutch assembly? drive shafts?. As much information as possible would be appreciated

Also with regards to the 4i engine what does 'cologne' mean?

Thanks.

You want www.interford.co.uk where they have many many XR4(x4) owners, and many 24v conversions done.

Choose Forums, then Sierra, and rejoice in V6 Sierra heaven.
