Question could any one answer this one ??

hey i was woundering on the side of my t3 turbo pressure housing there is what looks to be a bleed pipe which goes to the amal valve then to the actuator should this be giving any pressure or have suction or do nothing ?? cheers any one

that pipe will have boost pressure
the boost pressure opens the actuator via the amal valve which acts as a "bleed valve" controling boost depending on what the ecu tells it

so would it give pressure out when just on tick over or when its up in the rev range??

It will show a vacuum at idle, but will go positive(pressure) when boosting.
At idle the turbo is not really doing anything other than revolving really slowly, so the engine is sucking, once above a certain point the air pump(turbo) comes in, so it no longer sucks but is fed with pressure.
