hi guys.
i have done a few searches on this and after a couple of hours found nothing.
i have a r reg escort gti 3dr. i only brought it as a run around but beggining to like it apart from the speed or lack of.
anyways i have taken the wiring and screen out of a escort ghia that will allow me to have a heated screen and washer jets.
the plug to connect the loom is located next to my abs pump and not very easy to get to but it is the same plug as the windscreen loom.
my question is, whats the wires already coming out of that plug and if i disconnect them, what wont work. and also if i plug in the new loom, will it work.
i cant find a wiring diagram anywhere so any help would be great, thanks.

 

Only way to find out what the wires are for already there is to note colours and find them on the wiring diagram, what colours are they anyway ?
They will undoubtedly need to be left connected, so a simple bit of wiring will soon sort it all out.
