any one done a 5 speed gearbox conversion on a mk3 escort and had a problem with the 5th gear casing being close to the chassis leg read a web page that says you need to mod the os engine mount to pull engine over but im using all the mounts that are supposed to go on the gearbox just a bit confused

 

hi mate u shouldn't have a prob with the 5 speed conv as the xr3 n the ghia models came with the 5 speed box
