Cossie tick over fault
I have a stage 2 G reg Sapphire, i ticks over high at abot 11-1200 rpm, i have cleaned the idle speed control valve & if i un plug it the engine cuts out so i dont think its the isc valve, i have turned the screw on the bottom of the throttle body (the one with a 14mm lock nut) but this doesnt alter the idle speed, what else could it be? also somimes the idle is aratic when i pull up at junctions surging up & down
please help

hello mate
have you cleaned out the throttle body as well?
mine had a similar prob.
took the throttle body off and cleaned it out in thinners. put it back and reset the base idle and its been alright since.
might be worth a try.
are you the gav that knows matt messe?
cheers nick

you need to set the base idle and go from there then when you plug the iscv in if the idle changes then something is telling the ecu to lift the rpm could be tps or temp sensor hope this helps where in notts are you
