Bit of a novice with this but what would a worn cvh shell look like?
Due to oil pressure problem will have to drop sump off to check oil strainer & pick-up pipe and want to know the obvious signs of wear to look for.

worn shells look scored like scraped metal. new ones will be prefectly machined. with no scrapes
