Default help needed rs turbo s2

hi there can any1 help ive got a escort rs turbo s2 when i bought the car it had a blankin plug were the dump valve went so i got a new dump valve and now when eva i start the car it stalls but if i take the pipe off that goes to the inlet it runs fine the car seems to boost fine running at 10 psi plz can any1 help its doin my head in now thanxs peeps can email me to tonylincsbabe2@hotmail.com if ya like tar tony

you need to put a twin piston type d/v on it not by the sounds of it a single type one! what's the make of the one you fitted?

Yep. My mates is exactly the same. Stick a single piston dump valve it stalls,
stick a twin piston dump valve on it it's fine. I've never tried a single piston dump valve on mine, but it runs just peachy with the Baileys twin piston dump valve.

hi there thanxs for gettin back to me peeps yeh i think its a single piston its a baileys got it off a mate who had it on a fiesta turbo thought it wud work the same

easy way to tell with a Bailey's twin type you'll see the piston/valve stuck up the middle of the tube!
