Which standard 4x4 Ford gearboxes are the same as the Escort Cosworth?

SIERRA 4X4 COSWORTH - thats your lot - the actual gearbox ( MT75 )- not including inthe transfer box is common to other sierras , transits and granadas,

you can get a recon box for 300 exchange or about 100 secondhand that needs reconning.

How much of a job is it to remove/replace the transfer box?
Is it worth just replacing them both at the same time?

personally - id have the lot done - the actual parts are not a lot - its the labour in stripping/ rebuilding -

 

isn't the torque split different on the sierra box and the escort one? i was told that the sierra one has a 50/50 split but the escort has a 60/40 split to the rear

 

60/40 sierra and escort.

 

66 rear/ 34 front - to be picky....
