my friend has a 1.3i tht has been fitted with a 1.6 cvh and now we want to up grade the brakes will xr2i/rst brakes and calipers go straight on or am i looking at changing shocks/springs, wishbones,master cyl, hubs and driveshafts?

 

wouldnt bother with them brakes mate as they are pretty crap, ive put st170 front dics and callipers on mine, direct fit

 

ah perfect so was it discs and calipers? and they will be fine on the old 1.3 hubs?

 

yep will fit fine i beleive

need 15s (if there big internally) or 16s to fit them though

 

Mk3 Mondeo calipers are the same as the ST170 ones but much cheaper
