Doing an oil change today on my Cmax 2.0 TDCI (54 plate) and I noticed a brown plastic solenoid valve just dangling near the top right engine mount. It turns out there is a bent metal bracket mounted on the ends of two the the engine mount bolts and the bracket has fractured in two places due to stress.
I'll get a new bracket but what is the valve for? It is marked Peirburg (SP?) who I associate with carburettors but the rest of the injection system is Siemens.
