Default Escort Cab Conversions & Modifications

Hi All,
I've always been a lover of anything ford really, I've owned a whole host of them but i've finally decided to bite my lip and buy myself a restoration project.

I've just paid £150 for a H Reg 1.6 Convertable CVH/EFI
- Nice Silvery-Blue Colour (Graphite Grey is it?)
- Rotted front wings
- General Body is German so it's 100% Pukka! Not even a scab!

Basicly i own a Mk6 Finesse and i know you can do conversions such as mondeo brakes setup etc, What can i do on the MK4 That i've bought?

I wish to keep the car as "Stock" looking as possible but i do want performance, And with performance obviously i need big braking abilities. Im leaning towards running a 2ltr Zetec in there as i have one sitting in a mk6 that i bought to get it working for a quick & easy swap into my daily driver.

I've also been look at the CVH 1.9 Block, Found one on ebay im keeping an eye on and made an offer on another i found, Will it be any good holding down an Eaton Supercharger? (What i currently have waiting to go on my zetec).

Basicly i just need to know the most "common" and obviously only the crediting mod's i dont want no big stupid holes chopped in the bumper or any monster truck 17's on there

All advice welcome I will get pics of the cars up tommorow when its daylight again! lol
