Yea, basically i want to change the suspension on my FRP

Nobody supplies off the shelf suspension for the frp basically because tickford to gain the wider track, took a standard hub and bored it larger and too a larger angle. Eibach then made a shock absorber to fit. This means that it is larger than any others.

I already have adjsutable lower arms and rose joints.

However, i want to get some kind of coilover.

I was thinking, but need advice, could i not use an eccentric top mount to bring the top mounts out to make the added track and use standard, non angled hubs with normal coilovers?

I would certainly start with std hubs, then do as you say with top mount etc.

GAZ... they normally do custom fitted coilovers for about £500, or they used to, just need to take your car to them, I'd be on the blower to them :thumb:

 

jacko on projectpuma is sending a set of FRP dampers off to a coilover company to get a cost of custom coilovers estimated.

 

what about leda,think they do custom struts and have been doing suspension for fords for years,would be my 1st choice.
