HELP!! my 1.8 TD engine has given up. i have done so much work on the car that i cant let her go, all i reli need to know is if i would be able to drop a 2.0 TD engine in the car as it stands. every thing works part from the engine and the fag lighter. is it posssible to do a straight swap??? the car is a mondeo mk2 estate on a t reg.

afaik the 2L td is a completely different engine.
