Does anyone know which way the vanes should angle on the back of an escort water pump?

I have been sold one, but it lloks to me like they should turn the other way round.

This the new pump- With a straight outlet as an escort should.



This is te direction of the vanes.



I have been told this second pump is a 2.0 Mondeo one as the vanes go the other way.


Also, the outlet is angled back.



Is my new pump a pukka escort one????
