My 205 block needs a rebore due to bore wash and my mate has a set of 91.775 oversized pistons that he has run for literally 4000 miles. My queston is, what size are standard pistons and what cc will fitting these oversized take it to?

hi there you standard bore size is 90.82, if you rebore your block to 91.775 you are going to 1mm oversize and the block will be on its last legs, you need a .5mm oversize really. hope this helps you

 

Ah ok. Will go for the 1mm as I dont plan on doing many miles on the Mk1 Cortina its going in. Thanks!
