Default slipping viscous coupling

the viscous coupling on my 24V cosworth MT 75 slips when l give it any stick/launch hard or drag start the car. does anybody know how much hp they should take? is it possible to adjust or modify them or do l need a new one? can the viscous fluid in them be replaced?
l would appreciate any advice..
