how long should a AP clutch last
hi guys
anyone know roughly how long a AP paddle clutch should last, it's done approx 6k since it was last changed and bite point feels quite high, surely it should last longer than this

what car and what power is it, how many launches have you done and how agressive are you with the clutch? these are all things needed to answer the question.
e.g. a 1.1 fiesta with an AP clutch that has never done any launches, is gentle with it and does not ride the clutch will last forever, but a 400bhp drag/track car that is abused will last not long at all!

hi pal
thanx for the reply, the car is my fiesta rs turbo in my signature, it's dyno'd at 223.9bhp and 219.1lb tq, but saying this it's not driven agressivly and is my daily ride to work and back in the week it's generally not taken over 40mph mainly high street roads
it's got a ap paddle clutch plate and a genuinne ford clutch kit for the rest
