Hi there, got an Escort LX 1.8 TD L reg, Cant get any power to the glow plugs, the coil light on the dash is very dim or not lit at all. Have replaced the timer relay unit but still cant get power past it. The other thing found was the multi pin connector behind the battery was full of water,have cleaned it up and it seems to be ok but the original problem still persists. The battery is new. Anyone got any ideas? a wiring diagram would be useful. many thanks, steve d.

 

I suppose this site will be frquented mostly by petrol heads but I thought there might be some Diesel knowlege around- come on where are all the "techies" ?
