hi i have a 2002 mondeo zetec s tdci and when accelorateing above 3000 revs in 2nd or 3rd gear the car goes into safety mode and the glow plug light flashes and there is a rattle just before the light come on?
Been on diagnostics twice came up with the same sensor so changed that [fuel pressure sensor] that did not work and i have triedmy old sensor on a friends car and it worked fine.

 

cam position sensor on my mates one went. fuel relay could go or injectors need recoding possibly. was a decent quality fault coder used.

his cam bearing cap has snapped and been welded back together!!!!
