Default cosworth boost problem help

Hi i did a head gasket on my car all done and back together now nothing changed head off skimmed baco on etc. Now the car will only boost to 10psi it was 20psi. Ideas please i have tried all the pipes to make sure they are correct out of the manual etc. Would the actuater be the problem??? what else controls the boost pressure the length of the bar hasnt changed. Could it be the penny wheel sticking as when i pushed some pressure through the actauter to see if it was working it looked like the bar was bending alot.

Suggestions what to try next i am going to take the actuater off and check the penny moving ok. and whip the exhaust off put a mirror up the back make sure all looks ok and shutting properly in the back.

When i drive the car it doesnt have wastegate chatter like it used to would that be because of me running lest boost.

Cheers

Ian

With the engine runing wiggle the amel valve plug and see if it clicks pull off and make contact.
also check boost hoses for leaks and loose clips

fooking hell sussed it out by proccess of elimination. Who would believe it was a split diamphram in the dump valve. dohhhhhhhh. Thanks to all who replied and yes the car is up for sale but might not be soon as the car i wanted maybe sold. I have put it up twice when cars i have wanted have come up etc.

Cheers

Thats why I said check boost hoses. my old one done exact same thing with a tiny split in one of the hoses. was set to 19psi but would hold 10psi and not drop further. well done for finding it mate. a big sigh of relife I bet
