HI all

i am having a few dramas with my mondeo and i am going mad. in sunday i took my EGR valve of a cleaned it as my car was kicking out loads of balck smoke i put it back on and the black smoke stopeed. the following morning i started the car up and suddenly there was a load of whitey blue smoke coming out of the exhaust it smelt like unburnt diesel plus my idling was very irratic too up unitil the engine had warmed up once the engine warms up the smoke goes away but there is a knock on the engine when i drive the car over about 2000 rpm. any help would be awesome
