s2 idleing strange when u press the brake pedal?
Had this problem recently with s2 turbo. When your at standstill and idleing away, if u press the brake pedal the revs increase, and i've tried it a few times and it will always do this, any ideas as to whats up with it?

mate, i promise you its normal, think about it, when you press the brake, you are reducing the amount of air room in the servo, this will pressure it back to the inlet manifold, so when the air pressure goes up, touch more fuel will be added so the revs will go up a little, i even tried it for you today in My Series 1, it only rised a minimal amount, and My XR2i does it.
Hope u can see what i mean.

hmmm, try turning the idle up a little, otherwise it might just be an air leak which is usually always 90% of the problem on a turbo'd car

My s1 also dies when i push the brake, if i holfd the pedal down then it will stall completely
An air leak sounds most likely, but does anyone know if this means that the air leak is definately in the servo or would there be the same symptons if the leak was for example the inlet manifold gasket or anywhere else?
I'm trying to establish wether i should replace the servo before anything else
Any help is greatly appreciated
