Default mfi + efi + management = headaches (Help!)

I have just fitted my 1400 mk4 escort with an engine which is

mfi block (standard pistons, rods etc)
efi head and inlet (New valves, every gasket and seal replaced)
aftermarket management (no idea what it is) running a distributor
standard esrt mfi pump (outside tank)
standard injectors (are efi and mfi different????)
standar fuel rail and regulator (efi)
1400 alternator (just no had a chance to pick up a turbo one)
T3 turbo
Pace intercooler
-31 actuator (breather looped back to turbo) without looping it the car wont even start.
New spark plugs, leads, dizzy cap etc

The problem is that the car wont run properly. Its fine on first start up when cold but after less than a minute it starts spluttering, pops, farts, smokes wont rev, wont idle.
For a bit it was running great only really fast (high revs) then it went the way it is in the video below.

Im aware that any one of the things ive listed above could be the cause but i simply cant afford to replace them all so im hoping that someone on here with a bit of experience can point me towards the most probable cause. When it does rev up its not too bad in the higher revs but low down it struggles to run at all.

Please help

Thanks

Tam.

mfi and efi injectors are completly different.
has that dump valve got a vac pipe going to the top of it? doesnt look like it from the vid.

and if your useing a mfi block where are you getting your crank position reading from?

I had a length of 6mm pipe going from the dump valve to the inlet manifold, it may have been off during the video, it ran the same when it was on although the dump valve sounded different, as if it was open when it sholdnt be.
When it went through a wee stage of running at high revs the dv was open the whole time.

From what i understand of the management system it takes a position reading from the distributor, i could be wrong tho.

Could it be over or underfueling due to a mismatch of efi and mfi parts? pump being too strong/weak for efi fuel rail/regulator?

The management thing powers the injectors but not the pump. This comes on when i turn the key.

What management are you running?

EFI management will require coil pack and crank sensor?

This is it

and inside

No names or markings that tell me anything about what it is. I saw it fitted and working in another car without the cps so i dont think this is the cause. I stripped down the loom and tested all the wiring with a volt meter and the refitted it near the beginning as the injectors werent working but got that traced to a bad earth which is now fixed.

Can anybody tell me what should be fitted to this plug on an efi?

I think you're pissing in the wind (or will eventually be) with that unknown management.. you don't know if it's working right, or mapped right, or anything!

Ye am thinkin that myself but im trying to be sure before i throw it to fcuk as my other option is remove the engine and pay £60 to have the block drilled for cps and i really dont want to if i can help it.
