Default mfi - efi conversion

i own a series 2 turbo and was wondering if there is much needed to do to convert it to efi also will this help reliabillity or anything that will as at the moment for some reasone it starts once hot takes time to turn the starter over again once you knock the starter it will start it did have a new one fitted few days ago before i bought it all help will be appreciated

easiest way if u can find it is a loom out of a mk4 efi escort, will have all the connections etc and work properly plus the ecu will be in the car etc.

You can use a fiesta turbo loom and modify it to run along side the turbo loom as a mate had bought a car with it done and it was pretty simple, bit crude but it worked none the less!!

hi mate i have a efi inlet with a mfi adaptor plate for sale if you need one

all in all is it relaible or better than mfi or is ther no difference?

my opinion it is better especially with all the waste gate chatter and you can ecu read when ya get a fault ive done it and would never go back it starts all the time lol
