I've finally sorted the wiring on my Escort but what AMP wire will I need to run the switched live from the yellow wire on the ignition switch to the starter motor?

My existing wiring doesn't seem to have it.

Also does the blue wire which goes from the alternator for the battery light go from the alternator to the back of the clocks? As it doesn't have that either.

 

25-30A should be fine. Are you sure you mean the yellow wire on the ignition? I thought that was for accessory feeds (ie key position 1).

No it wasn't the yellow come to think of it. Its the blue and black one IIRC

 

Just make sure it is defo from the ignition switch as there is another wire exact same colour on a lot of fords, coming from fusebox!!

It's all sorted. i'd taped it up in my old loom when I did the cossie managment conversion.
