cosworth head on 2.1pinto block

can it be done?
hi im rebuilding a 1978 rs2000 that had a 2.1 pinto with 2.25 pistons
the whole engine has been completely stripped down so i have to rebuild
was thinking cossie but everyone has done it
so was thinking my duttom end with cossie head and twin 45s or 48s
this is my first build so want to do it right
any help and pics if been done?

The cossie head in std form for n/a is a bit athsmatic, it needs a fair bit of porting to give good figures so bear that in mind.
Dont know what kind of power you'd be after though so that really sets the level of porting required. Add to that cams for n/a and it could be expensive for little gain.. all depends on what you want from the engine.
The 2wd cossie engines are a 205 pinto blocks so can't see too many problems caused with fitup. Although there are bound to be a few differences which others will hopefuly provide
