hi can sum1 tel me wot the symptoms of a rack going are ang if its leaking is that a mot fail

they can leak at the seals, the steering will feel heavier and it is a mot failure,as my gti failed on the rack last year and wasnt cheap to get done

your car mite start crabbing and there will be play in the steering , its around 200 for a new one fitted
