Default timing help

i know its not a ford but does anyone know how to set the timing up for a 98 vectra 2.0 16v? its the wifes motor her dad took its to bits without knowing what he was doing while i was waiting for the new oil pump to come.

aline the timing marks on the pullys the 2 cam pullys and the crank and fit the belt keeping the thrust side tight of corse

try on migweb or the vectra owners forum. iirc when u take the bottom pulley off there is an indent in the belt pulley that lines up with a notch & the 2 pointers on the cam wheels go vertical lined up with the notches on the cam rocker cover. its an autotensioner & the pointer on it needs to be alighned correctly so it willl tension right - can't remember that bit though
